Change Can Be Scary, But...

 

The first week of January. Of this year. We made a massive change. Lisa bid farewell to the company she had worked at for over 20 years. This was kind of a big deal. However, how everything transpired was a blessing in disguise. For so many reasons. 

This Tugs At My Heartstrings, But Great Things Are In The Works

 

Many years ago, we founded Bodacious Biscuit Love. We made homemade dog treats for shelter and rescue dogs. We also had a license to sell our homemade biscuits. All of the profits we made went to pay for ingredients, supplies, and to cover shipping costs to spread Bodacious Biscuit Love far and wide. 

I Was Almost Certain We Would Be Able To Have A Garden This Year

 

The house we bought in 2020 is on a secondary road. When we looked at the house that January, it was mild. No snow on the ground. Our realtor was trying to get the lockbox code. While she was doing that, we toured our spacious backyards.

Almost 2 months ago, I had to shop for new clothes. At an actual store. Instead of shopping online. That was something I had not done for years and years. However. After losing over 100 pounds and being half the woman I used to be, I had no choice.

We are always exceptionally grateful when people think of us. That happened today. Two special humans stopped over to share their bounty of farm fresh eggs. To chat. To introduce us to one of their sweet pups.

Our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden Is Complete

 

Shortly after our sweet Sophie made her journey over the rainbow bridge, we made the decision to convert the left side of our garage into a beautiful Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden. This is the before photo.

All of the pieces for our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden are done!! Early tomorrow, we're heading out to buy the finishing pieces. Solar lights, hanging flowers, and mulch.
