Earlier today, Lisa and I were amid our typical weekend morning routine. I was in the home office. Lisa had already made and served breakfast to our kids. She was frying bacon when we heard a knock on our side door.

This photo accompanied a blog column that I published on New Year's Eve. It was the day I cleared the bathroom and started priming the walls. The bathroom was not a room that we had planned on painting, however, despite decorating our bathroom and replacing the sliding glass shower door with a decorative shower curtain, the pale gray still made it look industrial.
I don't usually post the "after" photo first, but in this case, I did. To back up a bit, back in November, we finished painting our hallway and entryway. For most of both areas, we had decor for the walls. That includes the DIY wall mounted coat rack that we hung up on Friday.
A few days ago, I mentioned that I was finally going to give our neglected coat rack a makeover. It's been sitting in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Workshop for over a year. The original plan was to give it a makeover and offer it as an 'up for grabs" item.
We added a second dog bed to our home office. They're up against the wall beside my desk. Most of the time, Lobo and Willa will nap there. Sophie will join them occasionally although she prefers the dining room dog bed or sofa. Coco loves to nap on our bed or the sofa. Most days, this is typically the scene.
