At One Time, It Was Noisy And Rambunctious When We Served Meals And Snacks

When our sweet Sophie made her journey over The Rainbow Bridge in February, life wasn't the same. We grieved. Our kids did too. Sophie was exceptionally food-motivated. She loved her homemade meals and snacks and always ate with gusto.

I took this photo years ago. Our sweet Coco loved his blankets. In fact, he is the reason WHY we have not been able to make our bed for over 10 years. And. That was more than okay with us. 

We Began The Process Of Making Coco's Birdhouse Today

 

We began the process of making Coco's birdhouse for our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden today. Lots of tears. We decided the colors should match the blanket we bought him in 2012. Burgundy and black.

A few days ago, we received this beautiful gift in the mail. There was no gift tag included in the gift. We had no idea who sent it. 

Everything Is Different

A little over a week ago, we had to make one of the worst decisions. Last Saturday, our sweet Coco made his journey over The Rainbow Bridge. Between that decision and making the call and that day, our brains temporarily acted as if we were mathematicians.

Less than a week ago, we had to make one of the worst decisions. To lay our sweet Coco to rest. That call was made on Tuesday. We had made the decision over the weekend prior. Coco made his journey over the Rainbow Bridge. That day happened on Saturday. I can't even begin to explain how difficult the past week has been. 

Our Hearts Are Shattered

 

Today was heartbreaking. Beyond heartbreaking. I am writing this through tears. My eyes are sore. Our hearts are shattered.
