The Art Of Buying Clothes After Losing Over 100 Pounds

 

Almost 2 months ago, I had to shop for new clothes. At an actual store. Instead of shopping online. That was something I had not done for years and years. However. After losing over 100 pounds and being half the woman I used to be, I had no choice.

We are always exceptionally grateful when people think of us. That happened today. Two special humans stopped over to share their bounty of farm fresh eggs. To chat. To introduce us to one of their sweet pups.

Our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden Is Complete

 

Shortly after our sweet Sophie made her journey over the rainbow bridge, we made the decision to convert the left side of our garage into a beautiful Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden. This is the before photo. 

We Are Almost There

 

All of the pieces for our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden are done!! Early tomorrow, we're heading out to buy the finishing pieces. Solar lights, hanging flowers, and mulch. 

I Adore Simple Days

 

This week has been filled with a considerable amount of positive energy. My wife is officially on the first shift. After over 4 years. That's a pretty big deal. 

We Are Determined To Have A Vegetable Garden This Year

This Winter has been. Well. Weird. In fact, I am fairly certain that we broke weather recorded history. For the least amount of snow during the Winter season. We got a few inches here and there. But. It didn't amount to anything and melted the following day.

Lisa knows that I have been struggling lately in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Workshop. It's the battle of emotions. On one side, I am excited about our Bodacious Birdhouses coming to life. On the other side, working on the pieces for our Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden has been quite emotional.
