When It's Quiet, I Think. My Brain Is Flooded With What's Going To Happen In The Next Few Months...

After completing 2 huge projects this week on the work front, it was time to move to the kitchen to complete some DIY Dog Mom Projects. About a month ago, I posted a sign on the Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life Facebook page. A lot of people commented with interest in purchasing these signs and replied with their choice of color. In addition to the signs, I wanted to make a few more doggy themed wood pumpkins to include in our Bodacious Halloween Bundles.

The 10 wooden doggy pumpkins I made last week sold out within a few hours.

At this point, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. When I'm sitting at the table working on DIY Dog Mom Projects during the week when Lisa is at work, the house is usually quiet. Aside from entertaining Willa with sporadic games of fetch between her brief naps, it's quiet.

Unless I have music blaring. I don't do that too often.

When it's quiet, my brain spins like a hamster wheel. I think. Think. Think. Think. Think. My brain is flooded with new ideas, inspiration, mental to-do lists, the enormous amount of work I need to do in order to get this blog running to its fullest potential, new homemade dog treat recipe ingredients, etc.

The biggest thought at the forefront of my brain is that it's almost October. Right now, I'm working on a project for a client that will run through late October. Once that project is completed, I have to shift efforts towards several things.

1. This year's Bodacious Holiday Ornaments. Last year, I made a salt dough, bone shaped ornament. They were adorable, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to coat them with a protective gloss finish because it had a reaction with the salt from the dough. This year, we're making wood ornaments. I'm excited.

2. More DIY Dog Mom Projects. So far, the focus has been on wooded decor and Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilts, but I want to expand on that.

3. Updating this blog. More homemade dog treat recipes that I've created. DIY Dog Mom Project tutorials. Merging our Bodacious Biscuit Love Blog site with this one. New template. Increasing traffic and exposure.

4. New, homemade dog treat recipes. I'm so far behind on this it's not even funny.

5. Social media. I seriously need to update my social media accounts with dog mom blog stuff and DIY Dog Mom Projects. Again, so far behind.

6. The Bodacious Biscuit Love and Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life Facebook pages. I've been slacking. Yep. I seriously need to update both of these pages and bring them back to life.

Lots of great stuff is going to be happening in the next few months.

Stay tuned...
