Want To Make A Gotcha Day Hat?

This year, I decided to make Gotcha Day Hats for the kids as their Gotcha Day approached. In June, I made Sophie's. Last week, I made one for Coco to celebrate his 4 year Gotcha Day anniversary. I had to make his a little bigger. In January, Lobo will get his. Of course, like with most everything that has to do with our kids, I post photos on my personal Facebook account and the Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life Facebook Page.

Like with the homemade pumpkin cupcakes I made for Coco's Gotcha Day, people requested a "how to" for these hats. I didn't do a separate tutorial for this hat. The process is almost the same. The only difference is I had to make this hat bigger. To do that, I cut a portion from another hat and glued it to the existing hat after I unfolded it.

These hats are so cool and you can customize them with your choice of fabric, ribbon, labels, bling, etc. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to make one and the cost is right around $1.00.

If you'd like to make one, you'll find the step by step instructions here.
