I posted this photo a year ago today. Less than an hour after we closed on our house. Yep. We were officially homeowners. I can't believe it's been a year already.

An entire year!!
I had every intention of writing a lengthy post about the past year, however, I'm going to leave you with only a few things.
Okay, well, maybe a few more than a few...
1. Scroll and read. If you want to know about the journey we've embarked on over the past year, scroll through all of the blog posts I have published during that time.
2. Our 1 Year House-A-Versary celebration is extending through the weekend. We have a special guest that will be joining us. Out of respect and request for confidentiality, we will not be disclosing who.
3. I can reveal a couple of things. We haven't seen our special guest in over 8 years and he means the world to us.
4. We are unplugging for the weekend. That includes taking photos, social media updates, putting our phones away, etc.
5. I am taking a vacation. Well, sort of. I have not taken a vacation from social media and other "desk stuff" in almost 15 years. That includes blogging. This will be my last blog post until the beginning of next month.
6. It has almost been a year. Almost a year ago, we all believed that "in 14 days we'll flatten the curve of COVID-19." Yeah. Okay. Here we are. A year later. It has taken a toll on all of us.
7. After a year of this COVID-19 crap, I'm ready. Back on track. Updates. Reactivating. More time in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Workshop. Building. Focusing. More desk time. Getting back out there in the virtual world. Etc.
8. New look. I'm working on an updated template.
9. The new camera. I'm so embarrassed to admit that Lisa bought me a new camera over a year ago and it's still in the box. I suck.
10. Keep Life Simple. Every single day.
