During my unplanned social media cleanse, I received a super cool surprise in the mail from a very special friend. And, it totally included a dork moment on my part.
To back up a bit, I had placed an order with Amazon for a few items. I opted for a single day delivery instead of multiple deliveries. We didn't need the items we ordered right away.
The delivery day for our items was last Friday.
An hour before Lisa left for work, the items were delivered.
Lisa put them in our entryway.
I told her that I would take care of them later that evening.
About an hour after Lisa left for work, I received a private message from our special friend letting me know that a package she sent to us had been delivered.
Again, a total surprise.
I responded to let her know that Lisa had gathered our mail before heading off to work and I wouldn't get anything until after she got home.
Our friend responded and said it was from Amazon, but was delivered by USPS.
When she mentioned Amazon, I immediately gathered the boxes from our entryway.
Sure enough, the smallest of the boxes was a gift box.
From our special friend.
Total dork moment on my part.
When I opened the box, there was a gift message to accommodate these Lightsaber Chopsticks.
Dinner is going to get interesting. I hope Lisa doesn't mind eating in the dark.
Big. Huge. Smile.
This gift was completely unexpected.
It made my day.
Just like the beautiful set of chopsticks that a beautiful lady sent me a little over a month ago.
These just because gifts mean the world to me because it's always accompanied by, "I saw these and knew you would love them."
Those are the moments...
They always seem to come at just the right times.
They mean the world to me.
