Coco And Sophie Still Enjoy Pouncing And Chasing Each Other

We adopted Coco in 2012. Less than 2 years later, in 2014, we adopted Sophie. It took a couple of weeks for them to bond. But, it happened. They became inseparable.

Back then, they were much younger and more active. Now, they're our senior kids. The oldest of our 4 kids. Coco's face is turning white. Sophie is slowing down.

They don't play together as much as they used to, however, once in a while they both get playfully feisty with each other and it reminds us of their younger years.

That happened earlier today.

I was sitting at our dining room table.

Sophie started pouncing her front paws.

Coco did the same thing.

Back and forth.

Back and forth.

As always, the entire charade is very entertaining to watch.

Thankfully, I had my phone at the table to capture this photo.

Back in the day, they'd pounce, chase each other, pounce, chase each other...

Now, when this occasionally happens, they pounce and bounce around the room.

Almost hopping like vibrant baby bunnies.

That's what they did today.

Now that they're older, they save the "zoomies" finale for the very end.

Today, Sophie broke out into a trot through the dining room and kitchen and down the hallway.

Coco chased after her.

It all ended with Coco jumping on our bed to take a nap.

Sophie took a drink of water and curled up on the dining room dog bed.

I cherish these moments.
