Our Bodacious Staycation Is Moments Away

 

A much needed rainy day. Recaffeinating (is that even a word?) with an iced coffee in a quart size mason jar. Dancing to Fleetwood Mac while rearranging and organizing the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Workshop and closet. Housework. Then, whipping up a scrumptious surprise dinner for Lisa because she'll officially be on a staycation for a week. Total. Bliss. 

Today is just one of those days when I take a break. 

Sit in our newly painted home office and reflect.

I'm so grateful for so many things. 

And, as mentioned earlier, I will publish a blog column about all of that. 

When Lisa gets out of work today, she'll officially be on a staycation for an entire week. 

Our dining room is painted.

Our home office is painted.

I didn't get all of the painting done before Lisa's staycation, but that doesn't matter because we have eliminated all deadlines for our Big Bodacious Painting Project.

So...

Dinner will be served.

Dessert too.

Our staycation has almost begun.
