We Were Honored To Make And Deliver This Scrumptious Basket Of Holiday Love And Cheer

A couple of days ago, we made and delivered a basket of goodies to a special gentleman who is in the Coast Guard. This basket was filled with fresh baked goods, fruit, a wooden handcrafted ornament, hot chocolate and marshmallows. It was a special request from someone I have known since my early years in high school.

She was my best friend in high school and she saved my life.

Last week, she reached out asking if she could buy some baked goods for her son who is currently in the Coast Guard Academy. That is located about 30 minutes south of us.

When she asked what the cost would be, I told her it was on us.

Because, this is what we do during the holiday season and what we use the funds that we make from our Bodacious Holiday pieces and the Bodacious 12 Days of Christmas.

After corresponding, I learned that her son did not reside on the Coast Guard Academy Grounds. He had an apartment that was less than 15 minutes away from us.

Long story short, we made arrangements to deliver this basket of goodies to him on Thursday.

There were smiles and tears all the way around.

We received a message from his Mom, my old friend.

I got a bit choked up.

This is Christmas.

Right here.

Although we are not done with spreading Holiday Love and Cheer, this definitely was one of the highlights of our Christmas season.
