On the way home from work today, Lisa stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few items. This is out of our norm, but tomorrow we are supposed to be hit with a bomb cyclone storm. A Bombogenesis. Remember the Bombogenesis that hit our area back in 2017? October 29 on the overnight. We lost power for almost 2 days.
Yeah.
Tomorrow morning and afternoon I will be prepping for this storm. Extra treats and meals for our kids. Snacks for Lisa. Homemade jam for peanut butter and jam sandwiches for dinner and lunches if need be.
Water bottles in the freezer.
Ice.
Our tub and recycle bin filled with water.
All of the garbage cans out back tied to the fence.
Outdoor Halloween decor secured on our porch along with our hanging Fall flowers.
That's all we can do.
Then...
We ride out the storm.
The same way we did almost 2 years ago.
