Last Saturday we received a rather large custom order for 21 signs. We had the option of delivering half one week and the other half the following week. However. I made the decision to get the entire order done this week for Lisa to deliver on Saturday. It was totally doable. I would just need to be a little strict with my time management.
To some, making 21 signs may not seem like a big deal. And truthfully, a week is more than enough time to get it done.
But...
The time I spend in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop isn't the only thing I do in a day's time.
I'm a Work at Home Dog Mom.
I take care of our 4 kids throughout the day and that is a lot of work. Outside time. Playtime. Lots of snuggles. Making sure they're not getting into any mischief. Keeping them covered in their favorite blankets while they nap. Snacks. Etc.
I do a lot of "desk work" and that includes blogging, social media, marketing, and everything between.
All of the daily housework.
Meal prep for the kids and Lisa and myself.
Cooking and baking.
Chatting with clients.
Responding to emails, messages, and comments.
Our evening routine when Lisa gets home from work anywhere between 4:30 - 7:00p.m.
The list goes on.
I don't own a Fitbit, but I'm fairly certain my step count would be right up there in the acceptable range by the end of the day.
It's Thursday.
Tomorrow I'll be working on the most difficult portion of this order which involves screwing in 189 eye hooks and tying on the 168 pieces for the wind chime portion.
I know my fingers will be sore after doing this, but I've got this.
On Saturday when we box up the order to deliver...
I'm going to be one very proud Work at Home Dog Mom.
