Willa Made Her Move. It Happened Within Seconds.

I can count on one hand how many times I eat breakfast in a year's time. It's not a meal I'm interested in. I know this opens the proverbial "you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day" can of worms. Just know, I've tried to incorporate breakfast into my routine and...nope. I'm satisfied with my 2-3 cups of coffee.

Lisa, on the other hand, eats breakfast every day of the week. Monday through Friday, I have a hot breakfast ready for her to eat before she goes to work. After taking the kids out and feeding them breakfast, I crawl into bed. Lisa sits on the bed, drinks her coffee and eats breakfast. The kids are right there.

Lisa shares.

On the weekends, breakfast is served a little later and Lisa will eat breakfast in the living room or at the kitchen table. Regardless of where she's sitting, the kids are always right there. They sit side by said waiting for nibbles.

On Saturday, before Lisa ran a few errands, I made her a grilled egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Will jumped on the chair beside of Lisa and squeezed her head in the area where her arms were folded.

Willa made her move and licked the sandwich.

Sneaky little girl.

Moments like this amuse me.

I love and adore our kids.
