Snack Time Is A Big Deal In Our Crazy Home

Snack time, in our crazy home, is a pretty big deal. The kids know when it's snack time. Even Olivia, our rescue Guinea Pig. If she doesn't get her bowl o' produce at a certain time, she lets us know. It's the same with Coco, Sophie, Lobo, and Willa. They'll pace, bark at Lisa and I, and do everything in their power to tell us, "Moms...it's snack time."

Yes, this is the scene at snack time. The kids love eating their snack on our bed. They sit there. Waiting. Once Lisa and I sit down on the bed, the kids get in their favorite snack time spot.

Coco won't start eating his snacks until Sophie, Lobo, and Willa start eating theirs. Sometimes, he has a small pile before he digs in.

Sophie is right there. In my face. She'll put one paw on my leg. She also likes to lick the treats in my hand before I break them into bit sized pieces.

Lobo sniffs every piece of treat that we offer him. On days that the kids sample a new homemade dog treat recipe that I created, Lobo will eat those, but then snub our original Bodacious Biscuit Love Peanut Butter Dog Treats.

Willa tries to get on top of my shoulders. She gets so excited when it's snack time. She's still learning how to sit and wait patiently.

Once snack time is done, Coco likes to chew on his NylaBone.

Lobo will bark for Lisa's attention, but he eventually settles down and chews a bone with Coco.

Sophie scans our entire bed for crumbs and licks any remnants of treats. She's our little crumb catcher.

Willa gets the zoomies and runs into the other room to locate her favorite fetch toy.

Olivia can be heard munching on her produce and, shortly after, popcorning in her habitat because she's a happy girl.

Anyone else have a snack time ritual with their fur-kids?
