Scrumptious Eats For Lisa's Birthday Weekend

 

This is just a handful of yummies that we gathered over Lisa's birthday weekend. Yesterday, we got ground beef and beef short ribs from B-Z-B FARM LLC (our favorite and only go-to farm-to-table meat).

For dinner, I made homemade fried shrimp and scallops with fresh green and yellow beans from the Farmer's Market. Topped with Amish Butter.

Over the weekend, we grabbed corn on the cob, zucchini, baby red potatoes, peaches, tomatoes, and golden beets from Lapsley Orchard. We also ate breakfast there because their freshly made blueberry doughnuts and blueberry lemonade slushies are the best!

I made zucchini bread (for us) and muffins (for our elderly neighbor) from the fresh zucchini. We're having leftovers tonight with corn on the cob and roasted baby red potatoes.

We are simple folk. We support our local farmers. Visits to the Farmer's Markets, Farm-to-Table Markets, and Orchards are always the best.
