Aside from the homemade meals and homemade dog treats that we feed our kids every single day, they munch on fresh produce throughout the day. Yes. This is the scene when they hear us chopping carrots, watermelon, canteloupe, strawberries, and other fresh produce in our kitchen.
It doesn't matter if they are sound asleep during their many naptimes or playing hallway fetch or getting a snuggly rubdown. When we are at the counter slicing and dicing fresh produce, they come running.
They line up like this.
Stare us down.
We always share.
And...
We put plenty aside to include in their daily meals.
