Over the past month, we have been enjoying some old pallet boards that were gifted to us. We used some of the boards to make a chalkboard wall in our hallway. After making a few more pieces, we had a few extra boards.
The wall across from our DIY framed chalkboard wall was another wall that needed a lil' something. We contemplated a couple of framed primitive prints, but we wanted something that was made by us. I spent almost a week figuring out what that could be, but, it happened.
I layered 2 different colors on the boards. Lisa distressed them in her woodshop. Then, I worked my magic in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Workshop. The final touch was a coat of protective varnish and a border of primitive berries.
It's now hanging in our hallway and we are absolutely head over heels in love with it.
Did I mention how incredible it feels to have the woodshop and workshop back to life?
