Serving meals to our kids can be quite interesting. Comical. Changing from day to day. Our girls, Sophie and Willa, will eat all of their meals. Faithfully. In the kitchen. We always make the announcement of, "Are the babies hungry?" Seconds later, we hear the pitter-patter of paws belonging to Sophie and Willa. To the kitchen. Ready to eat.
On the other hand, our boys, Coco and Lobo, well...
They're a little more demanding.
Coco takes his time with breakfast. Sometimes he will eat his breakfast right away. Other times, he will ignore his breakfast and get back into bed because he either wants a massage before he eats or breakfast in bed.
Or both.
Of course, we cater to his needs and wants.
Eventually, he eats breakfast.
When dinner is served, he eats in the kitchen with Sophie and Willa.
Lobo, on the other hand, is sporadic with his meal demands.
He will eat his breakfast in the kitchen, but most times, he wants a little something special sprinkled over his meal.
That would include but is not limited to, homemade bread, yogurt, cheese, or extra lean burger. Once his demands are met, he eats his breakfast with gusto.
His evening meal is even more challenging. Not only does he demand the extras, but he likes to eat his meal in various areas.
Sometimes the kitchen with his siblings.
But...
Most times on the dog bed in our home office or dining room.
It varies from day to day.
As Dog Moms, we always comply.
Every single day, our kids keep us on our toes.
And, we wouldn't have it any other way.
