Lumberjack Lisa

A small tree came down in one of our neighbor's yards during Tropical Storm Isaias. A larger tree caught the brunt of it. Which resulted in the top of that tree hanging over one of our backyards. Over the fence.

This particular neighbor is an elderly gentleman. We don't want to impede hardships on him. So, Lisa took the pole saw that the previous owners of our house left behind and took care of it. Over and done with. Less than 30 minutes.

Afterward, Lisa trimmed off a few large limbs from the cherry tree that is much too close to our screened-in back porch.

She was having way too much fun with the pole saw.

I could tell she wanted to do more, but we're amid a heatwave. The heat index today was a little over 100. I told her to come back inside and sit.

Moments later, she was at the dining room table enjoying a cold Gatorade, and a freshly made sandwich.

Then, it was back to work on our Bodacious DIY Entertainment Center.
