The weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend. Warm. Sunny. I did housework while Lisa did yard work. Our kids enjoyed plenty of time outdoors in their playground. Lisa built another birdhouse in her woodshop for me to detail in my Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop. I decided to make a gorgeous, decadent cake to mimic a Hostess Chocolate Cupcake.
We shared it with our neighbors who are super cool and have welcomed us into the neighborhood.
In addition to all of the chores, I crocheted more face mask bands for Lisa to take into work on Monday. I made over 80 last weekend. Thanks to the donation of buttons from our beautiful friend, Carol, I was able to make more.
The world is weird right now.
Dark.
So many people are fighting online about this or that.
We have kept our distance from the bickering.
Instead, we are choosing to embrace the good.
The positive.
What we are able to do for others to spread love and joy and necessities.
As we have always said...
"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together."
