Not Everything Needs To Be Posted On Social Media As It Happens...

A friend of mine reached out yesterday inquiring about my recent blog columns, especially the one I published the other day about the Universe shifting. She asked if everything was okay. I told her yes. Then, she asked about "the Universe shifting" and what that all meant. My response was not so direct...

Prior to my indirect response, I had to briefly explain how I learned about Universal shifting.

In the Fall of 2010, I was living out of state. I worked from home. That October, I visited New Hampshire for the first time in over 8 years to visit family for a week.

During that week, the shift began, but I didn't know it at the time.

About a month after I returned back home (and I use that term lightly), the shifting felt like gigantic earthquakes with aftershocks.

Weird stuff began happening. Multiple times. Every single day.

I say "weird" because it was out of the blue and caught my attention.

I reached out to a close friend of mine who also worked from home. I was in tears. I couldn't explain what was happening.

She giggled which made things worse for me until she offered up the simple explanation.

"The Universe is shifting and doing little shimmy shakes. Fate is probably going to do a little dance or two. Pay attention to those shifts and shimmy shakes. Things are going to change in a big way. It won't be easy, but what is meant to be will be."

A few months later, I made one of the best and biggest changes in my entire life.

No, it wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

Since then, there have been many shimmy shakes. The Universe is always doing little shimmy shakes, however, when big changes are in the future, the Universe will shift hard with lots of aftershocks.

That's been happening over the past 6 months, but more so in the past 3.

Big. Huge. Weird. Stuff.

Just like back in 2010 and 2011.

We have both been paying close attention.

To. Everything.

Everything.

My friend took a few seconds to process everything.

Then, she asked the million dollar question.

"Okay. So, what big changes are you making?"

I told her that one of the many things we are doing in 2020 is moving forth with a few exciting adventures and goals in silence.

I'm fairly certain my friend was confused and quite possibly offended.

I explained further...

"The new and exciting adventures and steps we are taking toward reaching a few goals is in the best interest of Lisa, our kids, and myself. All of us. As a family. We are excited and nervous and embracing this next stage in our life.

It's kind of like those couples who find out they are pregnant, but don't want to announce it until after 3 months. Like that.

We live in the digital age where people feel the need to share everything immediately on social media. I'm guilty of that too at times. I rely on social media for a lot of my work. However, this is more personal.

A few people who have recently removed us from their friend's list on Facebook, because Lisa and I have spoken up and out about certain things, read this blog. I know that sounds petty, and it is, but I know people like them nose around.

We will share stuff eventually, just not...now. And, that's okay.

Hopefully, if we are able to take those big steps toward new adventures and such, our close friends who have become family will celebrate with us."

My friend understood.

And, even though she has no idea about any of our new adventures and goals, she's excited for us. She can't wait to hear all about it.

How do I even end this blog column?

How about...

Stay tuned?
