Every now and then I come across a photo of a dog's water bowl accompanied with information about that clear slime that forms on the side and bottom. That slime is called Biofilm. You can read about Biofilm here and here. The last sentence at the bottom of the condensed information is a statement that reads, "Remember to always clean your pet's water bowl at least once a week..."
At least once a week?
We wash all 3 of our furry kid water bowls every single day.
Our mindset is...
If we wouldn't drink the water in their bowls, why should they be drinking it?
If you're a Mom or Dad of a furry kid or furry kids, go check their water bowls.
Would you drink the water inside of their bowls?
If not, wash their bowls and fill them with fresh water.
You should be doing this every day.
