Our Kids Have Their Little Moods Too

Most of the time, all of our kids get along. They eat all of their meals and snacks together. Snuggle and nap together. Play together. Enjoy outdoor time together. Share chew toys and bones. But, every so often, they get into their little moods...

When Coco doesn't want to share a bone he's chewing on, he'll make a gentle growly noise. Or, if he doesn't want to share my lap or Lisa's lap, he'll do the same thing.

If Sophie needs her space, she makes a noise. The only way I can describe it is a Gremlin when they were fed after midnight.

Lobo has his own noise that he makes. Or he'll stretch out in the center of any of the DIY dog beds, DIY indoor dog house, or the nappy nook so his siblings can't join him.

Willa, on the other hand, loves to be in the company of all of her siblings all of the time. She gets sad when any of her siblings "need their own space." In those instances, she'll curl up with them at a distance.

But...

Once in a while, she'll get in a little mood too if she wants to snuggle or enjoy a chew bone with one of her siblings and they don't want to.

The other day, this happened.

With Lobo.

He did not want to share the DIY Platform Dog Bed.

So, she pulled the blanket off.

That was that.

Willa chewed on a bone and fell asleep.

Lobo stretched out and eventually fell asleep.

End. Of. Story.
