Our Bodacious Holiday Season Starts This Coming Week. That's Okay. We've Got This.

I took a break from blogging over the weekend. I had some work stuff to catch up on, deadlines to meet, small projects to get done, and I needed to get the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop organized and inventoried. While doing that, Lisa and I discussed some Bodacious Holiday Projects that we've been planning in our heads.

The Nor'Easter that hit on Saturday was fierce, but thankfully we didn't lose power. Not even a flicker. Lisa rested on the sofa with the kids while I worked and caught up on a bunch o' stuff.

She's been feeling a bit run down as of late.

A lot of trees are bare now. Lisa is already planning on leaf maintenance on the back, side, and front yard.

Every year, this has been an ongoing task that begins mid-October and ends when the last of the leaves fall off the trees in our neighborhood.

What's funny is that this property has NO trees, but Lisa is out there periodically raking and bagging for over a month.

Yesterday, Lisa ran a couple of errands and got a few small projects done around the house. We talked a lot about the upcoming Bodacious Holiday Season.

And, the upcoming week...

The last day of October is on Wednesday.

The first day of November is on Thursday.

That's the official start of our Bodacious Holiday Season.

Lisa has a lot of work to do in the wood shop.

I've got a lot of work to do in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop.

During these conversations, we both had moments of, "This year went by way too fast!"

But, we've got this.

It'll be interesting to see how our Bodacious Holiday Season plays out. This is the first year we're not offering Bodacious Holiday Biscuits.

We'll definitely have more time to create lots of Bodacious Holiday DIY Dog Mom Projects.

And, I'll look forward to and enjoy the one day I put aside for Christmas Baking.

Maybe I'll put 2 days aside this year!

Either way, I'll be posting about all of it.

We're heading into this week with determination. Confidence. Excitement. Anticipation. A little stress because of the amount of work.

We're embracing it all.
