This Photo Summarizes Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life

My workload for this weekend is rather heavy. Deskwork. DIY Dog Mom Projects. Baking homemade dog treats. Painting and putting the final touches on a DIY Doggy Bed for Sophie's 4 Year Gotcha Day tomorrow. Housework. And attempting to tackle the stuff on my lengthy To-Do List. It was one of those mornings where I had so much work to do, I didn't know where to start.

Lisa didn't hesitate to jump right in. I didn't ask. She just did it.

She got up early with me. Painted Sophie's Gotcha Day DIY Doggy Bed. Made homemade treats for our kids. Took our kids to their doctor appointments. Finished housework. Tackled laundry. And, will be running an errand later so I can make Sophie's 4 Year Gotcha Day cupcakes for tomorrow.

Amid all of that, she took the kids outside for playtime, spent lots of extra time with the kids, fed them their 2 afternoon snacks, and played Willa's usual 212 games of fetch with her.

While Lisa was shaping the homemade dog treats and waiting for the paint to dry on the DIY Doggy Bed, I snapped this photo.

The expression on her face is priceless.

She didn't complain once about helping out.

This photo speaks a thousand words.

It best describes our weekends.

More so, it summarizes Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life.

I wouldn't change a thing.
