Early this afternoon, I received a Facebook message from our dear friend, Patti. She was in town and wanted to stop by quickly before heading home. This was a big deal. We haven't seen Patti in months.
Patti is the Animal Control Officer in Preston, Connecticut. We met Patti in April of 2014 when she introduced us to sweet baby Amos. Since then, we've delivered lots of biscuit love to the Preston Pound when they've had pups. To this day, we still keep in touch. And, on occasion, Patti will send her famous, "I'm in Plainfield" private messages.
It made our day to see Patti. She adores our kids and gives the best hugs. Her smile is contagious and her personality is "sparkly."
