In late April, a friend of ours reached out to place a custom order. It was a gift for her husband. This year, they're celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary. They've got a lot to celebrate. Just recently, her husband was declared cancer free.
I was more than happy to make this custom order. A 4-foot sign with a sentence that was recited during their wedding ceremony. In addition, she also ordered a sign for the cat room.
Today, our friend, her husband, and their family visited us to pick up the custom orders. We absolutely love and adore this family. They're vibrant, march to the beat of their own drum, they help animals in need, they're simple, enjoy the little things in life, and their 3 human children are polite and participate in the conversations.
It wasn't just the humans who visited...
They brought the newest additions to their family.
Two rescue puppies.
Our hearts melted instantly.
Our faces were slathered with puppy kisses.
We donated a large plastic outdoor gate so the puppies could play freely in the yard at their house.
We also put together a box of toys and apparel.
I love days like today.
