No. No. No. This Has To Be Allergies. I Can't Get Sick. Not Now.

Last night, I found myself in panic mode. I got a tickle in my throat. I couldn't stop coughing. I took an allergy pill. Very little relief. When I got up this morning, I took another allergy pill and a DayQuil. That eased the symptoms. I have severe Spring allergies. Usually, my allergy pill works. But, as allergy season gets worse and worse every year, the extra measures I don't give much thought to the extra measures I have to take.

I had a lunch date this afternoon. She suffers from seasonal allergies as well. We enjoyed one of the best Antipasto salads I've ever had, my homemade chocolate chip cookies, fresh fruit, and wine.

Then, tonight, the tickle turned into a sore throat, pounding sinus pain, aches, chills, and the dreading feeling that I was about to come down with what Lisa and I both had THREE times last year.

I just doped up on more DayQuil and a full bottle of water.

This can't be.

We have a graduation party to host on Saturday and Our Big Bodacious Painting Project is beginning on Tuesday.

We're keeping our paws and fingers crossed.
