Crock-Pots And Cookies

I take a lot of photos throughout the week with my camera and phone. These photos range anywhere from the kids to something I'm cooking up in the kitchen. I don't always upload the photos immediately. Most of the time, I upload and edit the photos on the overnight several days after taking the photos. The only exception is if I need a photo immediately.

About an hour ago, I uploaded a bunch of photos and came across this one. It was taken last week. We're in the middle of doing a Meal Train for a neighbor friend of ours. When I snapped the photo, I had turkey meatballs simmering in the crock-pot, cookies baking in the oven, and a neighbor friend of ours had just delivered her famous crock-pot beans and beef.

The other counters were filled with fresh produce waiting to be prepped for garden and fruit salads.

When viewing this photo, I remembered that I was going to bake biscuit love on this day, but had to postpone the next day because I didn't have the room.

The Meal Train has been a total success. We're running it through this coming Tuesday, June 13th. We made a couple of changes to the menu because we're amid another heatwave.

I can't thank the people who came forth to assist with the Meal Train enough...

This photo makes me happy.

And, it's a reminder that we are surrounded by some rather incredible people.
