I Spend 20 Hours A Week Baking Dog Biscuits.

This is what 30 hours of baking homemade dog biscuits looks like. The picture doesn't do it justice. Our biscuit table is completely lined with trays piled high with biscuits. Lisa had to set up the card table because we ran out of room. Some of these biscuits are for orders. A few are for gifts. The rest are ones we'll be donating to rescue pups and some pet parents who have fallen on hard times.

You'd think that after baking for 30 hours, we'd have more than this, however, when we bake dog biscuits we're only able to bake ONE cookie sheet at a time. On that single cookie sheet, we're able to fit only 1 1/2 bags of dog biscuits. The bake time per cookie sheet is 22 minutes.

After 30 hours of baking, we had a total of almost 2,500 biscuits.

This is one of the many things I do as a work at home Dog Mom.

Baking biscuit love is something that happens every week and has been for over 3 years. I don't normally spend 30 hours baking. It's more like 20.

For some, 20 hours is half a work week.

Top that number off with blogging, DIY Dog Mom Projects, creating new homemade dog treat recipes every week, meal prep, housework, working on my book, taking care of the kids, and other miscellaneous work stuff.

The amount of hours I work per week blows through the roof.

Most of the time, I'm tackling this stuff with only a few hours of sleep under my proverbial belt.

I'm not complaining.

I love being a work at home Dog Mom.

I wouldn't have it any other way.
