I've Never Been To One Of Those Events Where You Sip Wine And Paint. But...

We've never been to one of those evening events where you sip wine and paint. However, on Saturday, I spent over 4 hours hand-painting almost 100 snowmen on our Bodacious Country Crackle Holiday Ornaments. Yesterday, I spent the same amount of time hand-painting names on each ornament.

A little wine may have been involved. Does that count?

In the day or two to follow, I'll be applying the protective, finishing glaze on both sides. That should take a few hours between applications and dry time.

After that, I'll add the twine loop to hang.

And put orders together.

Ship some.

Set up delivery and pick up times for those close to our location.

It's a lot of work.

The actual process of making and baking these ornaments is simple. What happens afterwards between start and finish isn't.

But, it's worth it.

To date, we've sold almost 100.

The money raised will be used to keep our Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin stocked for pet parents in our area who have fallen on hard times.

We're also going to put together some holiday pet baskets as well.

Time consuming? Yes.

But.

Time. Well. Spent.
