Last year, at an event we participated in, Lisa bought raffle tickets. She put a few in the bucket to win a lilac bush. Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers. A few days after the event, Lisa got a phone call. Her ticket was chosen. She won the lilac bush. Two weeks later, we participated in another event put on by the same animal shelter organization. We brought the lilac bush home and Lisa planted it in the back yard.
During late spring, when we had all of the kids outside, the lilac bush was the main attraction. Our neighbor friend had put some mulch around the lilac bush earlier in the week. I'm not sure if the scent of the mulch immediately attracted the kids. The first thing they did was run to the bush. Sniff. Coco peed on the bush. Seconds later, Lobo did the same thing.
Sophie was the last to sniff the lilac bush. I pointed my camera at her and she turned around and gave me THE LOOK.
Sophie is famous for giving me THE LOOK when I take the camera out. She hates having her picture taken.
I have to say, this is one of her more epic moments of giving me THE LOOK. It's as if she's saying, "Mom, I'm trying to make a decision. Pee on the baby Lilac bush or not. Must you take a photo NOW? This is a big decision."
Ah, yes.
THE LOOK!
