Remember the DIY chalkboard wall that we made last weekend? The framed for the chalkboard was made from old pallet wood that Lisa got her hands on last Summer. She took it apart, cut it down to size, sanded it, and distressed the pieces after I painted them.
We had a few extra pieces.
We don't throw away pieces of old wood.
Ever.
So.
We took the longest piece of wood and made it into something beautiful for our kitchen.
Right above our kitchen sink window.
Happiness is homemade.
It's one of our favorite mantras.
Whether it's in the kitchen or beyond.
