Our DIY Freestanding Desk And Shelf Decor Pieces Almost Sold Out

I have a tote that I keep under the work table in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop. It's filled with pieces of wood that Lisa has cut and sanded. When I'm not working on custom pieces, I'll grab 6-12 pieces of wood and start the process of making DIY Dog Mom Projects. Today, I did just that. But, instead of grabbing pieces of wood for hanging signs, I opted for something else.

I wanted to make some freestanding pieces that are ideal for desk and shelf decor. We have some store bought ones scattered around our home that people have given us as gifts. Just recently, Lisa received one as a gift for her 50th Birthday. It inspired me. I wanted to make some.

I had 9 pieces of wood that were suitable to make these expressive pieces of decor. That's what I worked on for 2 days.

After I coated the pieces with protective satin varnish, I took photos and posted online. I almost sold out.

Surprisingly, the coffee themed pieces didn't sell. I'll post them again around the holiday season. I'm sure there are a few people out there who have coffee addicts on their gift-giving lists.

The next DIY Dog Mom Projects that will be making an appearance this week...our 2018 wooden Bodacious Country Pumpkins.

Stay tuned...
