Yep. I Took A Sick Day.

This was the scene today. High fever. Aches. Chills. Head cold. Chest cold. Yep, what Lisa is recovering from hit me like a ton of bricks today. After sitting at my desk for 5 minutes this morning, I said, "Nope. This isn't happening today." I grabbed something to drink, the tissues, and reclined on the sofa.

All of the kids joined me. They knew I was sick. Sophie and Lobo snuggled and slept beside of me. Coco curled up between my legs on the recliner. That's where we slept all morning and afternoon.

That's right. I took a sick day. 

Now, it's time to dope up on some DayQuil and sleep again.

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed the fever breaks so I can function tomorrow.
