Last week, Lisa and I received some incredible unexpected gifts. Farm fresh eggs. A jar of homemade strawberry rhubarb preserves. Green tomatoes. A decorative sign. A couple more ceiling fans for our Bodacious Dragonfly Project. We are exceptionally grateful.
I spent most of today cooking and baking. Two loaves of zucchini bread. Chunky peanut butter sugared cookies. Strawberry rhubarb crunch pie. Spaghetti sauce and garlic and herb sweet rolls. All homemade.
Our home smelled ah-may-zing all day!
I love the Sundays that I spend in our kitchen.
Especially when it involves making lots of extras to share with those who extended random acts of kindness in our direction last week.
