Even Though We Are Both Sick, Stuff Has To Get Done...

I didn't wake up feeling any worse or better than I did yesterday. I made a hot breakfast and afterward I felt as if I had swum an ocean and climbed a partial mountain. Lisa is still not up to par. She's got a bad cough and her ear is still plugged. Fatigued. Worn out. But, the show must go on...

Lisa ran errands yesterday and one today. She got most of the housework and all of the laundry washed, dried, and put away. She went above and beyond with getting stuff done that I normally do on a Monday and Tuesday.

She also mowed the lawn.

Thankfully, she had a little help. We are so grateful for that.

I had things I needed to do as well as a Work at Home Dog Mom. Desk work. Cooking. Baking. A little housework. Prepping dinner for the kids, Lisa, and myself. Chopping fresh Summer vegetables to freeze for soups during the cold weather months.

Between all of the chores and such, we've taken the kids out and had lots of play and snuggle time. Snack time. Meals. They're our priority. It doesn't matter how sick we are or what's going on.

That's just the way it is when you're a Mom.

Stuff has to get done.

It doesn't matter if one parent is sick or both.

If there are kids, whether human or furry, that need to be taken care of...

It. Gets. Done.

We're keeping our fingers and paws crossed that by next weekend we'll both be feeling much better. We have a lot to do in the woodshop and workshop and that will involve going out to buy supplies.

Like I always say...

We've. Got. This.
