Some Of Those "Just Because" Gifts Have Come From Out Of State

I post a lot of photos of the gifts and goodies that our neighbors-who-have-become-family treat us to on Facebook. From homemade pie and fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables to treasures they collect on their travels and unique items for us to either repurpose or give makeovers to. However, some of the treasures gifted to us also arrive from people we know out of state.

Today, our sweet Tabatha, who I have known for over 30 years and is the incredible lady who married Lisa and I almost 7 years ago, made us smile with a couple of super soft, "totally us" t-shirts that we absolutely adore! They fit perfect.

A couple of weeks ago, my friend J.P. Williams and his beautiful wife sent a batch of "Texas Dirt" along with a gorgeous tortilla press and some really great and special recipes. All the way from Texas. Their gifts are proudly displayed on the top shelf of our baker's rack.

We are grateful beyond words to all of you for thinking of us. Your big hearts. And, spreading the joy to our neck of the woods.
