I have spent a lot of time in the DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop this week painting the pieces that Lisa made in her woodshop over the weekend. Most times, when I'm in the workshop, the kids follow me. In that room alone, we have 3 doggy beds and the DIY Indoor Dog House. Plenty of comfy spots for the kids to lounge out and nap.
On most days, I'm running back and forth from the workshop to the table and to other rooms to tend to stuff like housework and meal prep.
Yesterday, I was in the workshop for almost 2 hours. All of the kids were in there with me. They found their comfy spots. Stretched out. Fell asleep. Then, I got to the point where I needed to let the paint dry fully.
I left the workshop.
Peeked in a few minutes later.
THIS was the scene.
All of the kids looked at me as if to say, "Mommy, where did you go? When are you coming back."
Yep.
I got THE LOOK from all of them.
