This Is One Of The Many Things I Love About Being A Work At Home Dog Mom

When I'm writing blog columns at the kitchen table, this is usually the scene. This gigantic doggy bed is about a foot and a half from where I'm sitting. Sometimes, it's only Sophie and Lobo because Willa likes to curl up with Coco either on our bed or the sofa.

This is one of the many things that I love about being a Work at Home Dog Mom. The kids are glued to my side wherever I'm at.

During the early morning hours before 9 a.m., I'm at the table writing blog columns. After that, I rotate between the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop and the kitchen table.

When I'm in the Bodacious DIY Dog Mom Project Workshop, they follow me. In that room alone, we have a memory foam dog bed, a DIY dog bed, and the DIY indoor dog house. Plenty of comfortable places to stretch out and relax, chew a bone, or nap.

When I'm waiting for coats of paint or varnish to dry and head into the kitchen, they follow me. The gigantic kitchen dog bed is big enough for all 4 of our kids.

If I'm at the kitchen counter making homemade dog treats, Sophie, Lobo, and Willa will lay on the kitchen dog bed and stare at me. Coco paces around in the kitchen.

When I'm doing tedious chores like sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor, they watch me.

When I'm vacuuming or steam cleaning the carpets, Coco and Sophie watch. Lobo and Willa try to attack the vacuum and/or the steam cleaner.

Sporadically throughout the day when I use the bathroom, I keep the door opened. At least 2 of the kids are in there with me.

At times, especially in the kitchen when they get under my feet, I have the occasional accident where I trip and fall, but...

I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love that our kids like to be close by.

They keep me company.

They keep me on my toes.

They entertain me with their shenanigans.

They're always up for hugs and love.

My face is never without their juicy kisses.

Total. Greatness.
