I Wanted To Clean The Living Room This Morning, But...

From the time Lisa leaves for work until the time she gets home, our kids are scattered throughout our home. On the sofa. On their DIY dog beds. The DIY indoor dog house. Their nappy nook. On the reclining chair in the living room. On our bed. On the kitchen doggy bed.

Unless I'm a few minutes late giving our kids their afternoon snack and vitamins, they are very seldom in the same spot at the same time.

This morning, they were.

The sun was shining bright through the windows.

Onto our sofa.

Lisa forgot to straighten the sofa cover and blankets before heading to work.

I wanted to get that done as my first morning housework chore.

But...

All 4 of our kids were on the sofa.

Basking in the sun.

I knew I wasn't going to get the living room cleaned and vacuumed and the sofa covered straightened up at this point.

So, I tackled some of the kitchen housework instead.

And, I giggled a bit.

Yep.

Nothing ever goes as planned.

But, that's okay.
