The Look Usually Translates To Mischief...

When Lisa isn't home, I check on our kids at least 2 times per hour if they're not within my direct vision. It doesn't matter if I'm in the middle of housework, prepping dinner and snacks, writing a blog column or in the Bodacious Dog Mom Project Workshop. I don't set an alarm. I. Just. Know.

Most of the time, the kids are lounging, napping, or playing. When I check up on them, it usually includes a belly rub, kiss, and covering them with their favorite blanket. Or, sometimes one of them is by the back door waiting to be taken out. Other times, Willa may need an extra 22 games of fetch before she settles down.

Once in a blue moon, I'll walk into a room and see THIS.

Lobo and Willa standing there.

Giving me that look.

The look of, "Mommy. Since the last time you checked on us 30 minutes ago, we got into a bit o' mischief. We love you."

Ah. Huh.

This time around, they had pulled all the blankets and pillows out of the Bodacious DIY Indoor Dog House.

Yep.
