I Do It For The Kids

When I shop online at Kohls for needed items, the first thing Lisa says to me is, "We don't need anymore throw blankets or pillows." Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic when we occasionally shopped in-store, I'd run my fingers over plush throw blankets while Lisa gave me the look and said, "We have more than enough." It's a standing joke and has been for many years.

I've honestly lost count how many throw blankets we have. What I do know is that it's a lot. We wash throw blankets every week. I took this photo last year.

Laundry Jenga.

I took the first photo this morning in our main living room. At the time, there were 6 throw blankets and 3 pillows on the sofa. Our kids enjoy them more than we do.

This is why we have so many and Lisa hasn't put me on throw blanket and pillow restrictions.

I do it for the kids.
