Our Home Feels A Little Naked

Earlier this month, I published a blog column about having to rehome my beloved house plants and why and replacing that hobby with another. So far. So good. A couple of people picked up their adopted house plants yesterday. The last 2 were claimed today. Aside from my lemon tree plant, I'm officially suffering from house plant empty nest syndrome.

Okay, I'm being a little dramatic, but...

It was hard.

This time of year, we bring all of the house plants back indoors.

I love house plants.

They add life and vibrancy to a home.

Without them, our home feels a bit naked.

But.

It had to be done.

We personally know all of the people who adopted our house plants.

They are in good care.

But still.

Our home feels naked.

I may need to rearrange a few pieces of furniture or add more charming decor to where our house plants resided during the cold weather months.

Or, at the very least, spend a copious amount of time in the kitchen baking and cooking.

Exhale.
