I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm still a bit shocked that September is half over. But, here it is. The last of our Bodacious Fall/Halloween items went up for sale today. This is what I spent most of the weekend working on. These pieces are all hand cut, sanded, painted, distressed, and detailed by us. Yes, even the brooms!
I had every intention of putting all the Fall/Halloween accessories away after posting these items and diving into the Christmas pieces.
But.
I looked at our calendar.
A week from today, our friends are leaving for a 2-week vacation.
For the past 6 years when they have traveled, whether it be for a day, weekend, or over a week, we take care of their furry kids and house.
When they leave for an extended period of time, I like to get extra things done around our home in preparation the week before.
This is that week.
Yes, it's going to be crazy busy, but we are so happy for our friends. They are traveling to destinations overseas for the first time.
And, we get to spend lots of extra time with our fur-nieces who we love to the moon and back.
It is worth every minute of our time and efforts.
We're lovin' it.
