Doggy Bone Welcome Signs And Then...Bodacious Holiday Ornaments!

My big DIY Dog Mom Project for this week was making these wooden doggy bone Welcome Signs. I had 10 pieces of wood left that Lisa had cut and sanded a couple of weeks ago. I also had 9 wood doggy bones that were hand cut by the talented Mr. Ice. After painting the wood Lisa sanded, I picked out coordinating colors and went from there.

Originally, I was going to post these Welcome Signs on Tuesday. However, Willa ran under my feet. She had the zoomies while playing with Coco. In order to avoid stepping on her, I tripped and smacked my forehead against our kitchen table. That was the end of my workday. The following day, while in the middle of taking photos, we lost power for almost a minute. Although power had been restored, our internet was out for over 3 hours.

Today was the day...

These handcrafted dog bone Welcome Signs are up for grabs for $12 each! We cut, sanded, painted, gently distressed, added a wooden doggy bone (hand-cut by our friend, Mr. Ice), coated with a satin varnish, and finished off with a twine hanger. I only have 7 available and will not be making more. Grab 'em while you can. Leave a reply if interested. Colors are listed in each photo. Pick up and shipping is available.

I've already sold a few. What doesn't sell will be taken to the Whiskers in Wonderland event on December 2nd.

What's in store for the next DIY Dog Mom Projects?

Our Personalized 2017 Bodacious Country Holiday Ornaments...

We've got 30 ornaments to make for people who ordered them. I want to make 20 additional ornaments to give as gifts on December 9th. And, I want to have 20 available for sale at Whiskers in Wonderland.

Lisa is buying the wood tomorrow and will be busy cutting and sanding. Then, she'll hand 'em over to me so I can work my magic.

There's a lot of work to be done. We've got this!
