How To Make A DIY Dog First Aid Kit

It's August. The Summer is still in full swing. It's the season for camping, hiking, vacations, long weekends at the lake, etc. While some opt to board their kids or hire a pet sitter, most take 'em along. What pup doesn't like a swim in a lake, an afternoon hike or, at the very least, a day spent outdoors even if it's just stretching out in the sun?

When packing for these excursions, without a second thought, we include extras for the "what ifs." An extra change of clothes, a hoodie or pair of shoes. Inclement weather gear and apparel. Bottled water. Snacks. Etc. It's human nature to be prepared for those unexpected turn of events.

What about a First Aid Kit for your furry kid?

That's right. Us humans aren't the only ones at risk for mishaps or the occasional scrape or cut. Accidents happen. It's inevitable. This is why it's important to plan ahead and be prepared. First. Aid. Kit. Don't get caught off guard. You can purchase a pet First Aid Kit at most pet supply retailers. Prices typically start at around $20 for a basic 50 piece kit.

Or, you can create your own DIY Dog First Aid Kit. Some items you may already have on hand. It's super easy to put together a complete First Aid Kit for your pup and it doesn't take long. A little time and effort go a long way.

I've done a little research and gathered a few resources to assist with your DIY Doggy First Aid Kit...
