Our 2nd Annual Halloween Party Was Spooky-Licious!

Last Halloween we had so much fun hosting a Halloween party, we decided to do it again this year. It's officially become tradition. It's a small gathering with our dearest friends. Some dress up. Some don't. We eat, drink, dance on the porch, hand out candy to the adorable trick-or-treaters, eat more, drink more, get silly, laugh until our belly hurts, and the evening ends with the adult candy exchange.

This year, I made 2 crockpots of harvest stew, a kettle of chicken noodle soup, bread, peanut butter cup cupcakes and raspberry cheesecake cupcakes. We also had a table of appetizers in the living room. There was no shortage of candy.

And...wine. Lots and lots of wine. Lisa surprised me with 2 bottles of Apothic Inferno. We also had wine from the Taylor Brooke winery and some fruity Sangria.

Queen June was in the house! She had the best chair and wrapped her arms around the wicker candy chest before we headed outdoors to greet the trick-or-treaters.

I also had a glittery, dancin' unicorn and bumble bee in the home office!

It was a fantastic evening. Lots of dancing and laughing and eating and drinking. The evening went by much too fast.

I'm already looking forward to next year's Halloween party!
